The Soul Exchange

A young man finds the afterlife is neither heaven nor hell, but the original recycling plant.

When a truck sends Adam Crabapple’s car into a bus, he is taken from his by the book life, where he believes he has just found Miss Right. Adam is delivered to the afterlife, but not the heaven or hell he thought he knew about. Peter Saint anxiously greets Adam. Peter is the manager of The Soul Exchange, what he bills as the original recycle plant. Adam is quickly informed the here-after is not lounging on cloud waiting for wings to sprout out your backside, but work Adam learns he will start as a reclaimer at The Soul Exchange. His mission is to go back, collect the spirits of the departed, and bring them back to be implanted into new bodies. To learn the trade, he’s assigned a mentor, Lou C. Fur, to guide Adam. As the training moves along, Adam realizes that his mentor often leaves out lesson for his own amusement. They are both assisted by Mary Wiseman, a dispatcher that delivers them to the collection points. Each episode Adam tracks down a new soul to bring it back to the exchange, which is easier said than done, and often quite funny.
